Jessica Marie Alba a well known actress was born in Pomona, California on 28^th April 1981. Jessica’s nick name is Sky Angel Albz, she was born in an Air Force family and her family had to move places for the same reason. Her family moved to Biloxi, Del Rio and her family finally settled in South California when she was nine years old. At the age of twelve she went to her first acting class after few months later she had her first contract signed. Jessica Alba had a conservative upbringing. Jessica also had health issues she developed pneumonia and her lungs got failed twice, for these reasons she had been kept away from other kids company but later her health improved.

She has started her career by small role in a comedy film titled “Camp Nowhere” 1993, since she was not originally hired for the part but due to sudden drop out of actress whose hair matched Jessica’s. Jessica Alba then featured in T.V commercial and she appeared in many movies, in 1994 she again appeared in small screen for Nickelodeon’s series “The Secret World of Alex Mack”. Since then she appeared in many T.V shows and films such as Flipper, Venus Rising, P.U.N.K.S, Brooklyn South, Beverly Hills 90210, Never Been Kissed and Paranoid. Jessica Alba has done many roles but she is especially been famous for her role in series named “Dark Angel” in 2000 and films such as Sin City, Into the Blue and Fantastic Four. Jessica Alba featured on the cover page of Playboy Magazine and also rated as one of the most desirable women by Askmen’s.com in the year 2006 and was on the list of the fifty most beautiful persons by the Peoples Magazine. She has never posed topless for any shooting and it is mentioned in her contract that she will not going to give any such shots.

Jessica Alba has been nominated and won many awards mostly for her performances in “Dark Angel” and “Sin City”. Prominent ones are listed here.

As far her personal life is considered, Jessica dated her co actor Michael Weatherly for three years then she used to be with golfer Sergio Garcia and now she married to Cash Warren on may 19^th 2008, who was assistant director of “Fantastic Four”. Cash and Jessica now have a baby girl named Honor Warren. Her good friends are Kate Hudson, Eva Mendes and Eva Longoria Parker. She always focuses deeply while preparing for a character which has to be played as she went to strip clubs while preparing to play a prostitute and also learned to play violin for a movie “The Eye”. Jessica likes to listen to Coldplay and now she has passion for shoes filling her closet with brands like Jimmy Choo, Prada etc. She also has strong opinion against U.S action in Iraq.

Her upcoming movie “Sin City 2” where she plays character of “Nancy” and is directed by Robert Rodriguez and is written by Frank Miller has been scheduled to be released in 2010. Another movie which is under limelight is titled as “An Invisible Sign of My Own” directed by Marilyn Agrelo where Jessica is has to play the role of a math teacher is going to be released in 2009.
